There is no stopping BEC. They have done it again!

BEC 1XV are League Champions once again!

With 15 wins and accumulating 79 league points, Bec 1XV fought off table contenders Metropolitan Police RFC and Old Georgians to raise the Counties 3 League trophy and be promoted to Counties 2 next season.

With a total of 115 tries scored in the 1XV alone, notably from Joe O Brien, Oscar Tan, Mike Allen and skipper Tom Parsons, and 112 points kicked by fly half Will Bearsdmore, the team continues to grow from strength to strength. Try scorers below!

In other news, there was huge success from the other teams at Bec.

The Bec Belles won 13 of their games and secured 3rd place in their league, with some excellent performances from individual players including Annie Boby, skipper Sophie Reid, Rachel Nowikow, Jenny Hamilton and the Rice sisters. This season, we say goodbye to Meray Alfhaily and Gianna Noble-Cunningham who part us but we wish them the best of luck with their new journey and they will always be sisters of Bec.

The Men’s 2XV, led by Tom Scantlebury, also had a strong season, just missing out on 3rd place by 2 points but still a fantastic achievement to be proud of. Notable try scorers were Jake Hill, Jamie Leich, Cas Sparks and Lorenzo Ruzzi. There was also excellent place kicking this season from James Hill, tallying up 68 points.

The 3XV, led by Will Pollard, secured 3rd place in the league and just fell short of 2nd place by 1 point! However, with the likes of Sam Williams, captain Pollard and Harry Hanley scoring for the team, the mighty 3s can be immensely proud of their achievements this season and they now look to the cup run in a few weeks time.

End of Season awards night is this evening and news and photos from the event will follow.

Love The Hill.
