RESULTS

BEC 1XV started their cup run against DartFord Valley in the Papa Johns Cup.

A huge start from our lads, as scrum half Jake McCarroll broke through from the ruck to score the first try.

A second try came from full back Joe O’ Brien, taking the boys into half time at 0 – 10.

In the second half, Dartford Valley started to get some momentum from some Bec penalties but Bec managed to keep on the front foot, with a try from lock Mike Allen and the extras from Will Beardsmore.

A final try came from Harry Ellingworth to maintain the lead. Despite a fight back from DartFord Valley, right up until the whistle, Bec put on a huge defensive shift on their own try line to end the game with a 24-25 win!

Man of the Match went to Jake McCarroll.
